Story paper — also called primary journal paper — puts a large drawing box at the top and handwriting lines below, so young writers can draw a picture and then write about it. The lines are 3/4″ with a dashed midline; switch sizes for older students.
About the top half of the page; choose “Top third” to leave more lines.
Yes — switch Orientation to Landscape for a wide drawing space.
A common progression is 1″ ruling for preschool and kindergarten, 3/4″ for kindergarten to first grade, 5/8″ for first and second grade and 1/2″ from second or third grade. Follow your school’s program if it specifies otherwise.
It is completely free with no sign-up and no download. Change the settings, print it or save it as a PDF, and bookmark the address — your settings are stored in the link.
