Plan one lesson on one page. Start with the objective and standards, list materials and vocabulary, then map the lesson from warm-up and direct instruction through guided and independent practice to closure, with a time for each step. Space for differentiation, assessment, homework and reflection keeps the whole plan in view.

How to fill it out

  1. Click into the lesson plan and type, or print it blank to fill in by hand.
  2. Choose Letter or A4 in the toolbar.
  3. Print it, or choose Save as PDF.
  4. Your typing is saved in this browser, so you can come back and finish later.

Tips

  • Write the objective as “Students will be able to …” with a measurable verb.
  • Plan closure first: how will you know they learned it?
  • Add times to each step so the lesson fits the period.
  • Jot a quick reflection after teaching — it makes next year easier.
