Round 2½ inch labels with a name line and a date line — they sit on top of wide-mouth mason jar lids or on the front of any jar. Label canning, jams, pantry staples, spice jars and homemade gifts.
The flat top of a regular-mouth lid is only about 2⅜ in across, so a 2½ in label overlaps the band slightly — stick it on the lid before screwing the band on, or on the jar front. Wide-mouth lids (about 3 in) fit with a border.
Paper labels work in the freezer if they are on a dry surface; for freezer jars use freezer-safe label paper.
The layout follows the common sizes and spacing for each label count and is centered on the page. Printers differ slightly, so always print a plain-paper test first.
