How to print it

1. Choose the paper size (US Letter, A4, Legal, A5 or Half Letter) and portrait or landscape — the page updates as you change settings.
2. Pick the square size, heavy lines every 4, 5 or 10 squares, and whether the grid has a border.
3. Add a title or a name/date header if you want, or keep the page plain.
4. Click Print / Save as PDF. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” (100%) and turn off “Headers and footers”.

Tips

• German math notebooks use exactly this: 5 mm squares with a margin — add a Name & date header for school.
• The grid always ends on whole squares and is centered on the page, so nothing is cut off at the edges.
• Turn off “Fit to page” in the print dialog — otherwise the printer shrinks the squares slightly.
