Notebook Paper: uses, sizes and printing tips

How to print it
- The page opens like a sheet torn from a spiral notebook: college ruled lines, a red margin line and a wider blank band at the top for the date and topic — 33 lines on US Letter.
- Set Line color to Blue for the look of store-bought loose-leaf, or leave it gray to save color ink.
- Add a title if you want every page labeled, such as a subject or class period.
- Click Print / Save as PDF, choose “Actual size” (100%), and use two-sided printing if you want lines on both sides.
Tips
- Want blue lines like store-bought loose-leaf? Set Line color to Blue.
- Punch three holes along the left edge to use it in a standard binder, just like filler paper.
- Keep a PDF on your phone or laptop for when you run out of notebook paper the night before an assignment is due.
FAQ
Can I print notebook paper double-sided?
Yes. Print the same page twice through your printer’s two-sided setting; the margin line will be on the left of the front and on the right of the back, just like loose-leaf paper.
Does it include binder holes?
No hole marks are printed, so the page stays clean. Use a standard three-hole punch on the left margin.
Will the line spacing be exact when printed?
Yes, as long as the print scale is 100% (Actual size). The lines are drawn as vector graphics, so they stay sharp and exactly spaced on any printer.
