Note Cards: uses, sizes and printing tips

Note Cards printable preview
Free printable Note Cards

Quarter-sheet note cards with a small heading and lines — four per page. Use them for lunchbox notes, quick thank-yous, study notes, journal prompts and recipe swaps.

How to print it

  1. Choose the card type and card size — the page fills with as many cards as fit, with light gray cut lines between them.
  2. Choose lined, blank, graph or dot cards where it applies, and portrait or landscape to change how many cards fit.
  3. Print on card stock for sturdy cards, or on plain paper for practice.
  4. Cut along the gray lines with a paper trimmer — the cards share cut lines, so there is no waste between them.

Tips

  • Keep a stack by the door for quick notes to family.
  • A paper trimmer gives straighter edges than scissors and is much faster for a full stack.
  • Print a test on plain paper first if you are using expensive card stock.

FAQ

Will they fit in an envelope?

A 4¼ × 5½ in card fits an A2 envelope (4⅜ × 5¾ in).

Can I make folded cards instead?

See the quarter-fold card template for a folded card.

Can I print the cards double-sided?

Yes. The cards are centered on the page, so the front and back line up when your printer flips on the long edge. Print one test sheet first.

Is it free, and do I need an account?

It is completely free with no sign-up and no download. Change the settings, print it or save it as a PDF, and bookmark the address — your settings are stored in the link.
